Sunmixer Showcases – Commercial Faucets Solutions at HOTELEX Exhibition

Wow, what an experience! The 2025 Shanghai International Hotel & Catering Expo (HOTELEX) was hands down one of the most exciting and productive events we’ve ever participated in. As a professional faucet manufacturer with a full lineup of heavy-duty commercial solutions—including our star products, such as industrial pre-rinse units, hose reel faucets, and American mop sink faucets—we knew we had to bring our A-game.

The moment we set up our booth, I could feel the energy. People were stopping by in droves, especially those from overseas markets. One of my favorite interactions was with a hotel chain representative from Dubai. He walked up to our pre-rinse faucet display and said, “We need something that can handle grease and food particles like a champ.” I showed him how our pre-rinse spray valve’s unique nozzle design creates a powerful yet controlled spray pattern that cuts through grime without splashing everywhere. After seeing it in action with our demo station, he ordered three units right then and there!

Things got even busier when the kitchen equipment buyers started showing up. A large American catering company sent a team to our booth specifically to check out our European-style kitchen faucets. Our sales manager walked them through the corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and explained how the ergonomic design reduces wrist strain during long shifts. By the end of the conversation, they’d added five different faucet models to their shopping list—including our new countertop-mounted bistro faucet that’s perfect for high-end cafes.

The real star of the show might have been our American-style mop sink faucets. A representative from a European cleaning services company spent 20 minutes testing different models, dunking his hands into the sink to check water temperature control. “These actually meet our safety standards,” he finally said with a smile. That one comment led to an order for 50 units—double what we’d expected!

What really made the trip worthwhile were the countless one-on-one conversations. I remember explaining to a European restaurateur how our commercial sink faucets come with adjustable spray patterns and built-in aerators to save water without losing pressure. He nodded enthusiastically and said, “Exactly what we need for our new branch in Shanghai!” By the end of the day, we’d collected his business card and secured a contract for their entire chain expansion.

By the third day of the fair, we were running out of order forms. A Mexican hotel developer signed up for our floor cleaning faucet line after seeing how the quick-connect fittings save installation time. An Italian bar owner fell in love with our water bar faucets and ordered custom chrome finishes for five locations. And don’t even get me started on the American restaurant group that placed a bulk order for all our European-style kitchen products after testing our lifetime warranty firsthand.

Walking back to our hotel each night, I could feel the weight of all the signed contracts in my carry-on. This fair wasn’t just about showing off products—it was about building real connections. We explained our production capabilities, shared case studies from satisfied customers, and even let prospects take home product samples. The feedback we got confirmed we’re on the right track with our focus on durability, functionality, and American-style design.

Now back in the factory, we’re already ramping up production to meet the new orders. Seeing all those international buyers walk away satisfied makes every long day at the fair worth it. Here’s to many more successful trade shows where we can continue sharing our passion for commercial plumbing solutions!
